Our last & final giveaway for Disney on Ice "Let's Celebrate." A New Year Wrap Party - Disney On Ice And The Salt Lake City Police Dept.

Invite the Public to Celebrate and Help the Utah Food Bank!

The public is invited to come to the EnergySolutions Arena Plaza Door Six Monday, January 24^th. Starting at 6:00 a.m. the FIRST 600 people to come to front doors at the arena on the Plaza and donate 10 cans of food will receive a free pass to the opening night performance of Disney On Ice presents Let's Celebrate on Wednesday, March 9^th at the EnergySolutions Arena. There will be a limit of one ticket per person, and each donator must be present with 10 cans of food in order to receive a free pass. This marks the thirteenth time Disney On Ice and the Salt Lake City Police Department has teamed up with the Utah Food Bank to help in the collection of food for Utah communities.

Salt Lake City Police Officers and local Mom Bloggers will face off in a Utah Food Bank Let's Wrap this up event, competing against each other in wrapping up food items collected during the Drive. Timed events will include, fastest gift wrapping, prettiest gift wrapping, most unique gift wrapping, in addition to other events.

I'm so excited about this giveaway! I've been in touch with Goody & they have been generous and sent me a Simple Styles Collection to giveaway to one of my fabulous readers! It is for dark hair - but as far as I see it, the Spin Pins & the Updo Maker hide in the hair so it really doesn't matter what color they are.

I'm assuming they made this collection more for the adult - but they work great for my girls -- so you can win them for yourself or share with your dd! Thanks to all who played. I know lots of you feel like you don't have too great of a chance of winning these things, so you may not enter giveaways, so I chose to do this over a weekend, since traffic is usually slower - thus giving you a bit better of a chance! :) Don't know if it worked or not - cuz obviously if you didn't win, you won't feel that way - but that was sort of my reasoning! :) That and the snow!

Snowy Saturday Giveaway - IS OVER!

It's going to be another cold & snowy Saturday here where I live. And so I thought what better time to cheer myself up from the gloominess than to have another giveaway. Well 2 actually. And I also figured with Thanksgiving coming up, what better way to say THANKS to all of YOU for visiting my blog! And what better thing to giveaway than flowers? Since they're not blooming outside, why not have some to accessorize your hair or clothes with?

I got more fabulous clips from Gimme Clips that I've been itching to give away, so here's what is up for grabs. To read more about these, you can see the previous post on this blog. We are just loving Gimme Clips at our house. Especially since they can be bought at a lot of the major retailers like Walgreens, and local grocery stores.

Package #1- Set of 6 clips (the one in the upper left corner is from their Bella V. line that has both a clip & a pin so YOU can accessorize your clothes, purse, or whatever you feel like with that one. It's actually more cream, but my pic makes it look more yellow.)

Gimme Clips Giveaway -- CLOSED

I told you this week was going to have some fun stuff in it!
This is another fun part of it.
I'd like to introduce you to Gimme Clips.

Maybe you've heard of these guys, maybe you haven't. And if you haven't you're really missing out because they've got some of the cutest things around. If you have heard of these, it's because they are sold in nationwide chains like Walgreen's. If you are Utah, they were on Good Things Utah a couple weeks ago, and if I can, I'll try post a link to the video clip of that at some point. In Utah, they are also sold at Harmon's, and eventually, they will be at Albertson's and Smith's as well. They are about $3.99 a clip, but I've had a friend buy some for $2.50 or also found them for 3/$10 - so they really are a great buy and a great way to dress up any cute head or your wardrobe. And if you want to make your own they also sell Gimme Clip Kits at Roberts Craft, so you can assemble them to your liking.

So I've hooked up w/Gimme Clips to offer you a fun giveaway. It sort of has 2 parts. This 1st picture is part 1 of the giveaway. You get these 3 clips. A black clip from their new line Bella V., an orange one (nice and festive for Halloween & the fall), and the fun one on the bottom is called "Turquoise Noise" with a festive feather attached for added flair. (Sorry my pics aren't the best.)

Here's a better look at the orange & black one, since the top pic you can't see them as well. The best part about the black one - from their Bella V. line is it's a PIN & a CLIP. The long awaited "mystery" back-to-school

giveaway is officially starting!I'm sorry it took a bit longer for me to get this up and posted -- but ladies, these things came all the way to me from France - yes France!

This fabulous package of Curlformers isn't even available to the public yet - and won't be until sometime in November - so you get first pickin's of this cool kit! I am so stinkin' excited about this giveaway - you should be able to hear me squealing from your computer! Squeeeeeeal! LOL

Here's the scoop:

There are 40 -- yup -- 40 long & wide hair curling spirals AND 2 hooks in this kit. (These curlers are good on hair up to 14" long - but I use them on Bug's hair that is even longer and they work great too.)

Just to give you an idea - I bought 2 regular packs of these months back and they each came with 8 curlers in a package and the hook came separate. So I use 16 curlers in my girls hair and they work wonderfully. So this means you can have even more fabulous curls AND do them in your hair, or even share 1/2 of the package with someone else if you feel so inclined! :-) Could it get better than that?!
